Pan American Karate Championships

In 2013, the brothers began a journey on Vancouver Island which took them to Vancouver, to Toronto, and to South America for the Pan American Karate Championships.

The event is called "team kata" and it involves the synchronisation of the team's movements without the benefit of any visual or auditory cues.  The kata is followed by the "bunkai", which is the practical application of the kata moves.  Geoffrey and Jean were following a strict training program which totalled up to 25 hours a week for several months before the event.
